Solarizing weeds and solar lights up

2

It was very hot today, but I didn't want the weekend to pass without some progress in the garden.

Today we spread out 4 10'x25’ 6 mil plastic sheets to solarize the weeds and poison ivy along the tree line and on the mountain of soil from the Big Scrape.

We also installed our solar string lights on the arbor and the cattle panels.

Yesterday Edgar tilled and created rows to plant sweet potatoes and also planted butternut squash seeds outside the cattle panels hoping we can grow those up vertically.

We've harvested a few peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes, so it's starting to feel like an active garden again.
